"Lightning" strikes at the collision point between the worlds of our internal and external experiences, birthing the magic and monsters we both need and deny. It is a flash of illumination in the dark, giving sudden form to our inner landscapes - at once ineffable and unknowable. A central figure watches as selves multiply and collide, each caught in a history, in a loop of her own narrative. The performance ​follows the logic of a dream but the stories are woven from lived connection to the material: we seek the surreality of being alive as a deeper truth to our experiences.
